On which side should an overtaking normally occur?
All overtaking should normally occur to the left of the vehicle ahead.
You can always choose the side for overtaking.
Overtaking should occur to the right, except on motorways.
Explanation
The basic rule is that overtaking should be done on the left side. Exceptions exist for certain situations, but normal overtakings occur to the left.
