Traffic Rules
Högerregeln
Lätt
When does the right-hand rule (högerregeln) apply in traffic?
In all intersections where nothing else is indicated by a sign or signal.
Only in T-intersections in rural areas.
It does not apply in parking lots or open areas.
Explanation
The right-hand rule applies in principle everywhere where crossing traffic exists and no traffic lights, road signs or other instructions regulate priority. For example, in intersections without signs, inside parking areas and similar.
